Intense peony colour. Aromatic complexity. A surprising long “body” in the palate. Notes of pear, raspberry, hints of fresh hazelnuts.
Grape varieties: 100% Mourvèdre
Age of the vines: 25 years
Yield: 40 hl/ha
Terroir: Rolled pebbles from the Durance river (which flowed through the valley well before the Rhône).
Winemaking: Cooling of the harvest. Bleeding of the vat after 24 h. Fermentation in the 400 liters barrel. 3 months of ageing in the barrel with lees stirring.
